Desparate to win
So someone today started an argument....and when I joined in to comment and he had nothing to defend himself what did he do....
1) Bad mouth me
2) Make fun of whomever I am supporting
3) Act Cheap

you are sooooo silly..just forget it man...whether to be annoyed with something is totally your choice..defending your friends, girlfriend, wife, mother, sister, etc. are not your duties in today's world. RELAX!

People who are worth convincing won't be persuaded by personal attacks or irrelevant facts. The best you can do is point out that their statements have nothing to do with the argument, and press them to refute what you say.
This presumes the argument is worth winning in the first place, which is arguably a bold presumption.
